Your Wozena plan

Your platform subscription: plans, upgrades and what happens if a payment fails.

Your Wozena plan is your agency’s platform subscription. It decides how many clients, agents and team seats you can have and which features you can sell. It is completely separate from what your clients pay you.

How your plan works#

You pay Wozena a flat monthly platform fee. Call minutes are billed to you by Retell on your own Retell account, and client revenue goes to your own Stripe account (see Connect Stripe). Wozena doesn’t take a share of what your clients pay you.

Everything about your plan lives on Plan & Billing: your current plan and its status, live usage against your limits, the available plans, and your platform invoices.

What each plan unlocks#

There are three default plans. Starter is built for solo operators, Agency adds the white-label and growth features most agencies sell, and Agency Pro removes the limits and adds custom domains.

Note
Plans, prices and limits can change. Plan & Billing always shows the plans available to you, their current prices and their exact limits.

White-label unlocks client self-signup through plan links, so selling through a storefront needs Agency or above.

What works without a plan#

You can explore Wozena and build before you subscribe. Without an active plan you can create and edit agents as drafts. You can’t publish agents, place calls, provision phone numbers or run campaigns until you subscribe.

Subscribe#

  1. Open Plan & Billing
Go to Plan & Billing and scroll to “Plans”.
  2. Choose a plan
Click the choose button on the plan you want, for example “Choose Agency”.
  3. Pay on Stripe Checkout
Enter your card on Stripe Checkout. If your plan has a one-time onboarding fee, it appears here. It is charged on your first checkout only.
  4. Return to Wozena
You come back to a confirmation page. Your plan activates within a few seconds.

Switch plans#

You can switch plans at any time from Plan & Billing. Changes are prorated through Stripe.

  1. Pick the new plan
Click “Switch to” on the plan you want, for example “Switch to Agency Pro”.
  2. Review the change
The dialog confirms your new price. Moving to a bigger plan charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current period to your card right away, and the new plan activates as soon as that payment succeeds. Moving to a smaller plan applies immediately and Stripe credits the difference on your next invoice. There is no double billing and nothing to re-enter.
  3. Confirm
Click the “Switch to” button in the dialog.
If the upgrade payment does not go through
When your card is declined or your bank asks you to confirm the payment, you stay on your current plan andPlan & Billing shows the pending upgrade with a “Complete payment” link. Pay the invoice there and the upgrade activates by itself; if you do nothing, Stripe drops the pending change after about a day and nothing is charged.
Moving to a smaller plan
A plan has to fit what you’re running: your published agents, client workspaces and team seats. Drafts don’t count. If the smaller plan doesn’t fit, its card says what to reduce first, for example “Needs 2 fewer published agents first”, and the switch is refused until you delete agents, archive clients or remove team members. Nothing you have is ever removed for you.

Manage billing#

Click “Manage billing” on Plan & Billing to open the Stripe billing portal for your Wozena subscription. There you can update your card, download invoices and cancel. Your platform invoices are also listed under “Invoices” on Plan & Billing.

Keep the email address on your billing record current. Payment-failed notices for your Wozena invoices go to that address.

Failed payments#

If a payment for your Wozena plan fails, your subscription becomes past due and a grace period starts. Service continues while Stripe retries your card, typically for about two weeks.

  • A banner reading “Payment needs attention.” appears across your dashboard. Click “Fix Billing” to update your card.
  • Your current plan on Plan & Billing notes that a payment failed and the card is being retried.

If the retries fail and Stripe ends your subscription, these stop for your agency and every client: publishing agents, calls, phone numbers, campaigns and client self-signup.

What your clients see
When your service stops, your clients see a neutral message that their workspace is unavailable and are asked to contact their provider or account administrator. They never see the Wozena name, but they can’t use their agents until you resolve payment.

To avoid an interruption, fix a failed payment as soon as you see the banner.
